For the Fall edition of GLEAN Christine Vuegen visited Tatjana Gerhard’s studio in Ghent, in anticipation to her new solo exhibition opening on Saturday November 30th. The visit resulted in a six-page article offering insights into the creation of her upcoming show.
“Recurring motifs of deformation, deconstruction, and fragmentation still seem present, though now in a different way. These motifs provide a wonderful starting point for a conversation about the painting process, Gerhard’s Swiss and Croatian roots, and her evolving body of work.”
