“Hand on Heel” Proposal by Roy Mordechay for the Cologne Cathedral

We are very proud to share with you that collaborating artist Roy Mordechay was selected as one of four finalists for creating a permanent work for the Cologne Cathedral. His proposal “Hand on Heel” made it to the final round. 

“Hand on a Heel"

The proposal by Roy Mordechay envisions the redesign of the north transept window of Cologne Cathedral, aiming to challenge the historically religious significance of pictorial narratives of division in the Christian-Jewish relationship.

The proposal is currently on view until April 26th in the Cologne Cathedral.
