We are very happy to share that gallery artist Kasper De Vos is invited for the 9th Biënnale van de Schilderkunst at Roger Raveel Museum in Machelen-aan-de-Leie. For the exhibition 'Vogelschrik van het museum' De Vos created a sculpture in the garden of the museum. Inspired by naturally growing shapes, especially from trees, De Vos created a sculpture inspired by the willow trees that he discovered in the museum’s garden during his visits. These trees have a special meaning since Roger Raveel was also inspired by the typical knotted willow trees which are so common in this area. The trees in the garden are standing in a curved line but one of the trees was missing so De Vos proposed to make a new tree himself.
Be sure to go see the beautiful work 'Betonknot for Roger' by Kasper De Vos at the gardens of Roger Raveel Museum.
